First check is on us
Your work email, then run a check.
One free scan of each asset type: an email, a landing page, a blog post, and a social post. No card, no install, no inbox round-trip. Enter your work email and the scanner opens right here.
Already have an account?
What we keep: your work email, the moment you consented, the page you came from, and the vertical you pick above if you pick one, so we can run your free checks and send updates worth reading. Never your draft copy. How we handle data.
Agencies welcome: pick the state and vertical per scan, so one account covers every client you ship for.
Welcome back
Sign in to your account.
Enter your email and we'll send a one-time sign-in link. Click it and you're back in, with your account, your tokens or Bus Pass, and your saved branding, on any device.
The link works once and expires in 30 minutes. New here?
Welcome aboard
You're in.
Your first check is on us. Here is what happens next.
- Run your first check. Say who it is for (or just check), paste the draft or point us at a live page, and scan. Nothing to wait for.
- We emailed you a sign-in link. It saves your account and free checks to any device. Optional; you do not need it to scan now.
Clients
One client is one business, anchored on its website. Scans of a registered site file themselves under the right client automatically, and each client gets its own report and its own slice of the log.
Compliance record
Every spent scan, on the record: who ran it, for which client, against which rules, and what resolved on re-check. Append-only; nothing here can be edited or deleted, by anyone. Facets and rule citations only, never your drafts.

Your team
A team shares its scans, its saved clients, and its report branding. The free checks stay with each person.
Anyone you invite can run scans on this team. Only an owner can invite, remove, buy, or change the branding.
Brand my reports
Put your name and logo on the header of every report and PDF you hand a client. Pre-Trip is named as the engine, not the sender. Set it once, included with every account.
Connect your tools
Pre-Trip works where you already work. Each of these uses the same account and the same checks, and everything they scan lands on the record.
- Chrome extension Scan the page you are on, or a whole site, from the toolbar. Connects to your account in one click. Get it
- WordPress plugin Check a post from the editor before it publishes. Uses an API key from below. Set up
- API, Zapier, and MCP Wire checks into anything else: your scripts, your automations, or an AI assistant. Keys are just below. Docs
API keys
Scan from your own tools, or paste a key into the browser extension or the WordPress plugin. A key draws on this account in the same order the scanner does: your free checks first, then a Bus Pass or tokens. Your drafts are never stored. Read the API docs.
Copy this key now. For your security it is shown once and never again.
Fares
Out of free checks? Two ways to ride.
One scan is one check of one draft, any asset type; video fares by length, one scan per started 30 seconds with a two-scan minimum. Tokens never expire and there is nothing to cancel. A pass is monthly, and its scan count is a fair-use ceiling rather than a budget: it resets each billing period and does not roll over, but it is set high enough that a working desk should never think about it. The advanced rewrite draws on the same pass.
The library
Coverage, source-cited.
Every ruleset carries its citations and a review clock. A ruleset that is pending review, past its clock, or covering a jurisdiction with no adopted rules fails closed: it flags instead of passing. Freshness is the product.
Scanned, not kept.
Your draft copy is processed for the check and never stored: not the email, the landing page, the post, or the video. That promise does not move. To run your free checks and reach you, your account carries five person-level things and only these: your work email, the timestamp of your consent, the page you signed up from, and the vertical and state your updates should be about. Those last two are your own answer to an optional question, or the subject of the guide you subscribed from, never a guess we made from what you scanned. Every compliance update carries a one-click unsubscribe, and leaving the list does not touch your account or your sign-in links. Alongside these we keep aggregate usage counts and verdict shapes. The scanner runs Google Analytics on the same property as kesey.agency, so a visit that starts on a guide and continues here counts once instead of twice; it sees which step you reached and the facets you chose, never your copy, your email, or your account id, and its advertising features are off. Never the copy itself. A Pre-Trip pass is not a legal opinion; the workflow is screen first, counsel last.
Video scans work the same way with one honest caveat: processing is not instant, so the uploaded file and its time-coded transcript exist in transient storage while the scan runs. The file is deleted the moment processing finishes, the transcript is handed to you once and deleted on delivery, and a sweeper removes anything left behind within 15 minutes, refunding scans that never completed. Audio is transcribed by Deepgram under the same posture as our AI calls: no account identity attached, nothing retained by us. Nothing about your video survives a completed scan.
